A Very Cooky Update
Well, I suppose you lot will be wanting to know what I've been up to, so here it is.
Christmas
So, this Christmas went really well. Me and Bexs managed to get over to see my family at least, and had a lot of fun, and I managed to get to see my friends a week or two before. It's times like this you really miss your car, I tell you. It was good to see the clan and of course, my fab lil' nephews who get more awesome every time I see them. My only regret is that I didn't see much of my Dad this year, but I'm sure I'll remedy that sometime with an impromptu visit or something.
New Year
Well, we didn't do much this year. We stayed in and watched 2008 in with Jools Holland. I drank whiskey. Bexs had a squash. It was ok.
Other Stuff
With the celebrations gone and 2008 in full swing, I'm starting to do what I've coined 'pressing the reset button'. After the festive season I lost track of the days and dates and so on, so this weekend off will be handy in returning things back to normal, or whatever passes for it. I've tidied a bit of the house, posted the first page of Astris Bandit up for the year and I've written a To Do list for the coming months. On said list is putting some effort into Bandit, as well as my neglected Journey of The Christian Gamer blog. In fact, I've been quite concerned over the past few months that I'm losing who I really am, because all I seem to have been doing is going to work, coming home, playing games for a few hours, going to bed and repeating this cycle. Still, I have ideas of how to return myself back to my former glory.
My resolution, if indeed it could be called that, is to obtain a car by the end of the year, so that'll be my reason for going to work other than to stop people sending me red bills. It's been an interesting year not having a car, and I've realised just what exactly I've missed. That's my only goal for 2008, but who knows what may lie around the corner?
