"And so it begins"

The B5 Quote we can all relate to

Yep, as in Babylon 5, the Scifi TV show. It's said at the end of series one, by a character who knows whats about to go down in the galaxy. I always remember it when I'm about to do something new.

So what's beginning?

My new job of course. My last day as a barman went quite well. I had to hang around for a while after my shift so that I could say goodbye. It would have gone a lot better if the Dj wasn't messing about with vocal effects. >:P

Still, everything else went fine. My mum and sister came to see me off, since they won't see me much now I'm living totally in Brum. No doubt I'll be popping back sometime next week to pick up my last wage slip and stuff. It's been a pretty weird week, i can tell you. For 10 years I've done nothing BUT Barwork.. and now I work in retail. In an electrical store. Man, I feel like Shaun from Shaun of the Dead, only without the red on me. Or the whole zombie thing.

Yum, hospitality

Today was a good day at Church, and the message was different, because we were split into groups to discuss some key points. Afterward me and Bexs headed to Kevin and Jenny's for tea, which was fab. ^_^

A bit later me and Bexs played Monster Hunter over the 'net with me good bud Ceej and his lovely wife Helen, in order to a). Kill Monsters and b). get me and Bexs to certain levels whitch will bring a sense of closure to the game. When Phantasy Star Universe (PSU) hits the UK shelves in 21 days we doubt we'll have any time for Monster Hunter, as we have decided to both play PSU as a couple.

Anywhoo, it's getting late and I think my bed is calling me to an early night, ready for the challenges of tomorrow. Hope all goes well....
