Well, today me and the wifey went to town. And I handed in a few CVs and visited a few places. At long last, I have my art pens to draw my cartoons with, and as a bonus-impulse-buy, a copy of the fab anime Howls Moving Castle.
All in all today has been quite productive, and I haven't wanted to kill anyone in town at all (crowds annoy me. It's a pet hate of mine), so life is good. I've done at least 3 things on that long to-do list of mine. Always good. It feels kinda wierd that I've finally gone out to get a job with the ACTUAL intention of geting one. Before I've not been too fussed, but nowadays I see it as the next step in my marriage. A job in brum would kill off a lot of money issues, so I'm hoping God will be kind enough to provide one for me.
As I said before, conditions at work are good for me to go. As one of the licencees, it's always been a bit of a bother to want to leave because it would cause some thorny legal problems for my boss. Heck, the last time I talked about going the Area Manager came to visit us to ask me not to go just yet. And me being nice and thinking of others I said I'd stay a little while longer. But with the imminant departure of my boss, she told me not to worry about leaving this time, because measutres were in place to provide a replacement for me when I had gone, and he starts in a few weeeks. Awesome news, and it pretty much gives me the go ahead to bog off someplace else.
Anywhoo, I'm a bit tired now, so I'm gonna go relax by playing games and spending some time with the missus. See y'all soon.
