Two day gap in reality

Oddness

The past two days have seemed a little odd. I've really not been with it at all, even though I do what I do usually. Glad they're over if I'm honest. Gah. I hate it when life goes all wierd on me. But some fun things did happen.

Rev. Matt Black

The bikers in my pub have given me a new nickname. Those guys love me so much, they want me to join them on one of their bike rallies, and one of them even said he knew of a bike that would suit me. To this end, they've even given me a nickname, The Rev. Matt Black, after a discussion about what colour my bike (when I finally get one many moons from now) will be. It's cool how those guys want me in their club and I'm not even a biker. ..yet. I do plan to get meself a bike once I get a job closer to home, to get to work and so on.

A Day of silly stuff

Well, today is a long anticipated day off, and unfortunately I can't go ahead with my plan of sitting in the corner playing games all day, because there's silly little things to do, like pay the rent and buy loo roll and so on. I never do like it when my plans go skewiff. Still, my Dawntreader pals are assembling tonight for some Online Gaming, which should be a whole lot of fun. I could do with some shotgun based action. I think I'll give the jobseeking a miss this Thursday, I could do with some relaxation. Hmm, I guess I should sort out some things over the phone too. Bum. Well, maybe I can spend some time on Final Fantasy XI for a bit.

Prayer Walk Imminent!

One of the things I've been thinking about recently is going on a prayer walk. There's something about going for a nice walk in some woods, or someplace nice and green that really helps me to touch base with God. I've been feeling the need to do this recently. I find it helps me out when I've a lot on my mind, or if there are big changes ahead, helps me to come to terms with them. I think I'll go explore the park down the road from me. Nice.

Anywhoo, I know that's a lot to sink in, but that's where I'm at. I'm off to play FFXI for a bit.
