A thoughtful week

Bad Stuff

It's been a tough week. One of my best buds and his wife split up, which can be only described as a bit of a shock. I've been asking a lot of questions this week. Some I've asked God, and others the rhetorical ones you ask when crazy stuff like this happens.
One thing is certain though, I can sure see how far God has brought me. The things God has been teaching me recently have also helped a lot too.

Getting Motivated

One of the big problems I've had with looking for a new job is that I've not been very motivated when it came to finding one. This week has made me realise some things. I'd best get my butt in gear! Yesterday's shift was very annoying, but it reminded me that I can cope. I've looked at a few agencies, and I've picked one that looks good. Yesterday was spent filing and tidying my important paperwork in order to find certain bits and bobs I'll need when I go in and talk to them. Basically I have to go forth and make the next step, or I never will. Bexs has offered to join me on Monday to visit the agency.

Astris

And finally.. I'm going to grab my pencils and pens and do the next page of the cartoon I've been working on sometime soon. I was also commisioned long ago to do a gospel tract in cartoon form.. I've asked a friend to do the words for me but I think he's vanished to do one of his many trips abroad for work. It's been on my heart to get it done recently, so I might start by doing some preliminary sketches until I can get the words to go with them... well, we'll see what happens.
