Basically, it sucks.

Agencies

So, I finally plucked up the courage to go to an agency. I went past my fear barrier, stormed in there with CV in hand... and it turns out they didn't take people on without a year's office experience. Bum. Needless to say, it put a right dampener on my day. I went home in a bit of a strop, it had to be said. But God has used this to make me think about stuff, as he often does when things go wrong.

Anywhoo, It's not a total defeat, right? There's still plenty more jobs out there, I'm sure theres one that's begging for someone like me to turn up. I certainly know how Bexs felt when she was doing this. I guess I should redouble my efforts and expand what I'm looking for.

New Folks

Apparantly theres this new guy starting at work soon. It's good news for me for two reasons: 1. He's an extra pair of hands and 2. He's got a licence which means I'm free to go any time. So I guess things aren't too bad after all. Mind you, it's not that hate my job, it's just... too far away.

Matt, I’ve just sent you an email about how to develop your web comic work into a job. I think there is at present a real need for gaming environments with Christian paradigms especial ones with educational themes. I think you could be ace at that and you might make a killing, so to speak. Let me know how you get on.
